Mushroom Tocino Recipe

If you are a mushroom lover then I’m sure that you would certainly love this Mushroom Recipe. For Mushroom growers out there who have extra produce and are looking for an alternative way to sell their products then this blog is for you 🙂


1 kg Blanched Oyster Mushroom (soaked in boiling water then squeeze to remove excess water)
1 tbsp salt dissolved in 1/4 cup water
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 clove garlic diced
1 tbsp water mix with 1 tbsp vinegar
1 tbsp soya sauce
1/4 cup pineapple juice
1 tbsp ground pepper

> Mix all ingredients except the blanched mushroom in a bowl. Mix well until the sugar is dissolved.
> Add Blanched Mushroom and Mix
> Cover the bowl with aluminum foil
> Set aside for 2-3 days to allow abosrption of the marinate.


For Selling: You may pack in 350g containers after 2-3 days, put your own sticker brand and start selling your healthy mushroom Tocino.

For Cooking: Cook in Low heat until you see the side becomes a little brown in color.
